Adopt an elephant | Freedom for Animals

Kate was shipped from India to live her life in a UK zoo at a very young age. She has spent most of her life locked up. Just like a prisoner, she was kept isolated for many years.

Sadly, elephants are still kept captive in zoos to be used as entertainment for humans. This is despite overwhelming evidence that these incredible animals suffer when kept behind bars. Tragically, it is all too common to see elephants exhibiting stereotypic behaviours and unnatural actions such as pacing and head swaying, as a result of the stress caused in captivity.

By adopting an elephant with us today, you will fuel work to protect elephants and end their captivity. You will support undercover investigations at zoos and campaigns that expose exploitation, all to bring about freedom for elephants from cruel captivity.

Adoptions cost £30 for a whole year and in your pack you will receive:
